A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Aliens are invading, it sucks!

You showed up to help fight the aliens, but no-one else did! You'll have to clone yourself so you can fight with yourself by yourself.

----

Features LOCAL SPLITSCREEN CO-OP and supports most controller types.

----

This chaotic action shooter was made mostly during the Ludum Dare 34 weekend over 48 hours. The page for the original version is over here.

----

Please let me know if you liked it! I'd like to work on this more, but I'm juggling a lot of things are the moment. If I think its worth it, I'd like to add more levels and a versus mode. Check out my website or Pitfall Planet if you're interested in what else I'm working on :)

Such a fun game

check the awesome gameplay here

loved it ..

This is definitely one of the greatest games I've found on itch.io, bar none. Brilliant and hilarious physics, a bonkers mechanic, and clever writing. I don't know if it's just my computer (I have a Mac OS X El Capitan), but the 2-player mode has this problem where it only follows the second player, in both splitscreens. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Thanks, I'm really glad you like it! That's a bizarre bug with splitscreen issue you are describing. I haven't seen it myself, but the two player mode was a last minute addition so it's not well tested. I don't think I'll have time right now to investigate the issue, but it might also depend on if you're using a gamepad or not.

Thank you so much for your quick response-- and gotchya about the gamepad thing! We were, in-fact, using Wiimote Classic Controllers mapped to keyboards, but I think there should be an easy way to have the game recognized. Also, hey, your avatar looks like a drawing of me, cool.

great game here is a video about its design ideas.

No linux support? :(

Awesome !!! Great job !!

This is really reminiscent of the good ole c64 days except that none of the effects where even possible.... Great time playing this!!! Even through VMware.....

Man! you made my day. I didn't see your game during the last Ludum Dare session - I would like to rate your project with 5 stars, but now it's too late. I love this game which seems to me one of the most innovative since many years. Thank you for this hilarious hour. Great and well done ++

Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you really liked it! :)

Hey !

I found your game on AlphaBetaGamer, and, as part of my "Saturday Indie Fun" series on youtube, I made a short segment showcasing some of my best moments with your game Just Me and Only Me Against the World. I just thought I would let you know that I think your game is amazing !

My pleasure :)

Amazing Game. Keep up the good work.

i think i might try to speedrun this. i found if you hold shift + z + x + right you could beat all (not really). fun game. sorry i missed it during the jam/compo but you wouldve got my votes

Begun, the clone wars have...

This was a badass game. Sure, it's more polished than the LD34 version, but the fact that most of this was done in just 48 hours is shocking.

The X360 controls were great, the curved screen effect was a damn nice touch, and the music wasn't anything to scoff at. Kinda felt it was a little short, but considering this is a 48 hour project, I'm not holding that against this game at all.

Very solid showing! Now, if you excuse me, I have to go back and kamehameha more aliens in the face.

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback and playing it on YouTube! I'm glad you liked it :)

Thanks for the awesome comments guys!
Let me know if anyone finds the secrets ;)

Very impressive. I've yet to see this Atari aesthetic become more popular in such an optimized manner.

Definitely worth a try.
